Take responsibility

“If you take responsibility for yourself you will develop hunger to accomplish your dreams.”
Les Brown

When you take responsibility for your learning, you’ll become more proactive and you will take an active role in your own learning process.

You can start to bring about a change in your own learning by asking yourself:  “If I’m not responsible for my learning, then who is?”  Asking yourself this question will help you to realise that no one else is responsible for your learning – not your teachers, and not your parents.

If you take full responsibility for your own learning, you will:

  • begin to set a high bar for yourself, regardless of the challenges you may face;
  • feel a need to meet your expectations and not someone else’s; and
  • detect new ways to motivate yourself to make choices and take actions which will lead you toward your educational goals.

Hope you will accept to challenge; take full responsibility and become a lifelong learner. Wishing you prosperity and all green lights.
