DON’T PROCRASTINATE

February 23, 2022 Uncategorized 0

Procrastination is the act of postponing an important task by focusing on more pleasant and less urgent activities instead. Procrastination can undermine your productivity and limit your potential. When students procrastinate, they have less time to complete their work and are less likely to complete it to the best of their abilities. This can cause students to feel overwhelmed and stressed. In order to prevent it, it is important to take proactive measures. Identify the tasks you must complete and schedule a time when you will accomplish them. Writing it down in this way will help you to proactively tackle your work.

Commit to your work by focusing on doing instead of avoiding. Take care of tasks as soon as they arise, rather than waiting till the next day. Deadlines tend to creep up and can lead to unnecessary stress if they aren’t managed properly. To manage your work and other activities, you will need some form of diary or planner. An ideal planner includes a term view that looks beyond the current day or week. The easiest way to keep up is to keep going by sticking to your academic schedule as much as possible. It is much easier than trying to catch up later.
