EXERCISE YOUR ABILITY TO OBSERVE

March 28, 2023 Uncategorized 0

An effective learner is attentive to their surroundings and observes well. You gain a lot from training your observation skills because our observational skills provide us with knowledge about things, occasions, attitudes, and occurrences by using one or more senses. The ability to watch and learn about the outside world is crucial as it forms the foundation of good communication. Furthermore, when you have superior observational skills you can “listen” with more than just your ears which help you make wiser decisions. Improving your observational skills will also enhance your capacity to engage in social interaction and give suitable responses. Success at school and in personal life requires both of these. If someone lies on their back in a hospital for many months, they have to relearn how to walk because our muscles need exercise if they want to work well. If you are not involved in what is going on around you, you let a large part of your mind lie empty and it will eventually weaken like the muscles of someone who has been in hospital for a long time. Exercise your powers of observation by asking lots of questions about the world around you. Many of the great inventors in history arrived at their inventions by constantly asking questions, because by asking questions new knowledge flows in. Use questions, like Where? What? Who? Why? When? How?
