RAISE YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS
Raise your consciousness about the thoughts that are passing through your mind. What we constantly say to ourselves (consciously, but especially also unconsciously), has an enormous influence on us. The self-talk that takes place in a person’s world of thought can be positive or negative and serve as a way to program the brain either positively or negatively. Positivity is a learned response – so is negativity. When a person programs himself negatively through negative self-talk, the person limits himself and will experience negative emotions. These negative factors are often also associated with stress, which in turn has a destructive effect on cognitive processes and learning receptivity.
When you raise your consciousness about your thoughts and examine them, it will help you to obtain an even deeper understanding of yourself. Our human nature leads us to remain negative about ourselves and unfortunately, we as humans often have a tendency towards negative self-talk. Therefore, statements that suggest “I’m a failure” or “I can do nothing well”, are common. Although our minds create many negative thought processes, you are able to reprogram them to something more positive and useful. To overcome undesirable or negative feelings or thoughts, cultivate more positive ones. It will begin to open new doors and opportunities for you and prevent you from sabotaging your mind with negative thought processes.
