CHOOSE A PROPER PLACE TO STUDY

It is important to have a suitable place where you can study and do your homework. Although it may be tempting, avoid doing your homework on your bed because you may end up taking a nap even if you didn’t intend to! It is best to sit down on a proper chair and table. Make sure your study area is well-lit or adjust the lighting so that it’s comfortable for reading in order not to strain your eyes. During day time natural light is good but if possible, investing in a good desk lamp can be really helpful.

You need to figure out what works best for you, for example, if there’s construction going on outside your window, you might want to relocate to the kitchen table. Most kitchens are well lit and have seating that requires you to sit up, or you can try going to your friend’s house for a combined study session. A public library is also a good alternative because it is usually a quiet environment with not a lot of distractions. Remember it is up to you to find and create your best study environment where you can work efficiently.
