Now that you know the truth about homework, you will realise that it will benefit you to absorb as much as possible of the information in class.
Do your best to pay attention and participate in class. Homework gets a lot easier when you’re actively learning the material. Actively participating in class will help you to engage with the subject matter. It will also help you to understand the concepts more efficiently and deepen your interest in the topic. You’re anyway stuck in class, so you might as well make the most of it! You will find that paying attention in class, asking questions and taking good notes will make your homework less confusing. It will also help you to complete your homework assignments much faster.
